image of Yaquina Bay Bridge during constructionThis project replaced the cathodic protection (corrosion protection) on the bridge, repaired damaged concrete and provided seismic upgrades to retrofit the bridge. This work was necessary to maintain the health of the bridge and increase its lifespan.

U.S. 101 | ​The Yaquina Bay Bridge is located between milepost 141.68 and 141.99 in Newport.

$30 million

Additional Information

​The Yaquina Bay Bridge was opened to traffic in 1936. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.
