The Oregon Clean Vehicle Rebate Program will open from April 3 – June 3, 2024. Vehicles must be purchased or leased during that time; the program will be closed as of June 4, 2024. Applicants have six months from date of purchase or lease to apply for rebates. Once funds are depleted, eligible applicants are put on a waitlist for 2025. Low- and moderate-income households can prequalify for the $5,000 Charge Ahead rebate by completing the application.
Standard and Charge Ahead Rebate applicants can apply online and track the status of applications. The Center for Sustainable Energy, a third-party administrator, is reviewing and processing applications on behalf of the program.
Oregon residents who meet the income eligibility criteria for a Charge Ahead rebate can get pre-qualified and use a rebate voucher at a participating dealership to purchase or lease a new or used eligible electric vehicle.
If you applied for a Charge Ahead Prequalification Voucher, DEQ will email confirmation of your submission, updates on your application and, if approved, your voucher, from noreply@nic.oregon.gov. The current wait time for a prequalification voucher is 3 - 4 weeks.
For more information or if you require a paper rebate application, please contact the Center for Sustainable Energy at oregoncvrp@energycenter.org, or 855–383-4425.
