    Istio has applied to join the CNCF at the incubation stage. As the TOC sponsor for Istio, I'd like to thank the Istio team and everyone that helped get us to this stage and put together all of the documentation for this.

I am the TOC sponsor, and would like to start the 2 week public comment period.

Everyone is welcome to comment in the document, on the PR, or in reply to this thread before we move to a TOC vote. This period of public comment will last a minimum of two weeks from today.
