2022 (Junior):
Played in and started 58 games … Hit .299 with seven doubles, a triple, 33 runs driven in and 34 scored … Also drew 22 walks and stole three bases on the season … Had 22 multi-hit games including two three-hit outings … Had a five-game stretch where he recorded two hits in each game, and had 10 two-hit games over a 14-game stretch … His first three-hit game was a 3-for-6 performance with two doubles and two RBIs at Rice … Went 3-for-5 with an RBI and two runs scored in the second game at Abilene Christian.

2021 (Sophomore):
Played in and started 47 games … All 47 starts came at shortstop … Hit .299 on the year with a two home runs, 12 doubles, 27 RBI and 28 runs scored … Also drew 12 walks and was hit by a pitch three times … Posted a .744 OPS … Was 8-of-9 in stolen bases … Had 14 multi-hit games, including five three-hit performances … Went 3-for-5 with a double, RBI and two runs scored in the third game against Central Arkansas … Followed that up with a 2-for-4 with a run batted in against the Bears … Went 3-for-4 with two walks, three runs scored and an RBI … Hit a three-run home run in the series finale against Houston Baptist … Went 2-for-5 with a home run, four RBIs and a two runs scored in the second game against Northwestern State … Went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI and two runs scored against Abilene Christian … Recorded a 3-of-5 effort with a run scored and a stolen base in the second game at UIW.

2020 (Redshirt Sophomore - Season Shortened by COVID 19):
Southland Conference Hitter of the Week for Feb. 18 ... One of five Cardinals to start all 17 games ... Hit .302 for the season with a .381 SLUG and a .328 OBP ... Opened his Big Red career with an eight-game hit streak ... Had 19 hits including three doubles and a triple ... Scored nine runs and had 10 RBIs ... Drew two walks and a hit-by-pitch while striking out 10 times ... Was 2-for-3 in stolen base attempts ... Finished the season ranked third on the team in batting average (.302), tied-second in doubles (three), tied third in total bases (24), tied second in sac bunts (two), fourth in at-bats (63), fourth in slugging percentage (.381), third in total hits (19), fifth in on-base percentage (.328), tied third in RBIs (10), and tied second in double plays turned (five).

2019 (Sophomore):
Redshirted in 2019 due to NCAA Transfer rules.

Prior to Lamar (Rice):
Attended Rice for one season where he appeared in two games, including one start ... Played for the Lake Erie Monarchs in the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League, hitting .203 with 14 hits including a double ... Had 10 RBIs and scored 11 runs while drawing 11 walks and stealing two bases.

High School:
Attended Warren High School where he graduated in 2017 with a 4.0 GPA ... He was the school's valedictorian, class president,  and student council president and was a four-year letterwinner in baseball ... Led his team to the Bi-District Finals in 2014 and an Area Championship in 2015 ... Was the 23-3A Pitcher of the Year in 2014, the 23-3A MVP in 2015, First Team DH District 23-3A in 2016, and 1st Team Academic All-State in 2017 ... Was the 23rd best shortstop and 93rd best overall player in the state of Texas according to Perfect Game.

Personal:
Born January 4, 1999 ... Son of Randy Weyler (Father) and Holly Weyler (Mother) ... Has one sister, Corby Casey ... Mother is a PE teacher and father is a construction superintendent ... Majoring in Exercise Science with the goal of becoming a physical therapist.
