The Kansas Abortion Fund is thrilled to announce our participation in the National Abortion Access Fund-a-Thon. Every year, abortion funds and their supporters come together in an enormous showing of solidarity with patients from across the country to drive Fund-a-Thon — an ambitious nationwide event, to raise money for abortion access.

How do I get involved?

Donate as an individual: Visit KAF’s donation page to advance abortion access in Kansas. 

Join us at Lucia on April 5th: KAF will be hosting a Fund-a-Thon bash at Lucia in Lawrence on Friday, April 5 from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. for music, food and fun!

What does my donation support?

100% of your gift supports Kansans who are seeking abortion care. KAF is a volunteer-run organization, and has been since 1996. Last year, your generous donation funded abortion for 511 Kansans, and we’re on track to fund even more this year. To meet our communities’ needs, we need your support. 

Whether you lead your own team or donate individually, you'll be making a direct and immediate impact in our community.

Who We Are

In 1996, a handful of friends started a phone tree to help provide information and funding to people in their communities who were in need of abortion care. As the need became more and more apparent, the fund became a 501(c)(3) non-profit.

The mission of the Kansas Abortion Fund is simple: To assist all Kansans in need of financial support to obtain abortion care. Since our founding, we have been an entirely volunteer-run organization. Our board currently consists of seven members, including a President, Vice-President, Treasurer, and Secretary.
