Position Summary
Article 8 Section 3.5 details the course assignment process for adjunct faculty members. Adjunct faculty members will specify availability and their desired schedule by applying to the adjunct postings posted in the PSU applicant tracking system.

Class availability may vary from the list provided below.

General and Physical Chemistry courses are expected to be delivered using active learning/POGIl techniques. Adjuncts are required to use specific course delivery methods.

CH 104/105/106 (Fall-Spring) Intro Chemistry Lecture 1-3 MW 0900-1050
CH 221/222/223 (Fall-Spring) General Chemistry Lecture 1-3 MW 1400-1550 or TR 1145-1335
CH 250 (Fall-Spring) Nutrition R 1400-1550
CH 350 (Fall-Spring) Biochemistry TR 1200-1350
CH 410/510 (Fall and Spring) Scientific Glassblowing lab (time varies based on instructor/student availability – typically 1-2 sections per term, 1hr long)
CH 440/441/442 Physical Chemistry Lecture MW 1130-1320

Compensation Base rate at minimum $1271 per credit.
