Former DHS official Spaulding: Disruption, not data access, is risk from Huawei

The potential for system disruption in a crisis, rather than cyber espionage, is the biggest risk from allowing Huawei into the United Kingdom's next-generation telecom networks, according to former DHS cyber leader Suzanne Spaulding, who downplayed the impact on U.S.-UK relations of the British government's decision allowing the Chinese tech firm to participate in 5G buildout.
