Pink Sweat$ Tones Back Production for Latest 'Volume 2' EP
The artist’s first project of 2019.
R&B up-and-comer Pink Sweat$, real name David Bowden, has returned with his first EP of 2019, entitled Volume 2.
The second installment of his Volume series, the artist once again brings his signature soul-filled sound to the forefront in his latest project. Toning down on the production side of things, Bowden presents a raw and stripped-back atmosphere – all songs on the new EP highlight the use of finger-picking guitar riffs and repressed percussion. This inevitably allows the main entrée, Bowden’s vocals, to shine through in an articulated manner. Overall, the five-track project brings forth an array of interesting pieces for the artist and showcases a promising year ahead.
