Offensive Player-of-the-Week
Jake Liebowitz, Sr., A, Trumbull

Contributed to nine goals on the week by scoring five and assisting on a team-high four when as Eastern opened its season with non-conference road wins at Mitchell College (19-4) and University of Saint Joseph, CT (8-2). Liebowitz, who scored his 40
th career goal during the win, scored twice in the second half when Eastern pulled away from a 3-2 halftime lead. He also had seven ground balls.

Defensive Player-of-the-Week
Tyler Koppy, Sr., D, Attleboro, MA

Two-year captain spearheaded a defense which gave up only six goals in two matches, helping the Warriors hold the University of Saint Joseph, CT off the board for the final 33 minutes in an 8-2 win that sealed an opening 2-0 week on the road. With Koppy, Eastern's defense allowed an average of only 12 shots to reach goal in two games as the Warriors outshot their opponent, 105-45. Koppy led Eastern with 13 ground balls and caused six turnovers.

Goalie-of-the-Week
Jack Farrell, Gr., Stratford

Graduate student backstopped two season-opening non-conference wins, accumulating a 2.78 GAA and .765 save percentage in 86 minutes. In an 8-2 win over University of Saint Joseph, shut out the Blue Jays for 30 consecutive minutes to help the Warriors pull away from a 3-2 halftime lead. The two wins pushed his career record over .500 to 11-9 and gave him his 19
th and 20
th consecutive career starts.

Rookie-of-the-Week
Shane Haggerty, So., A, Stamford
Â
Sophomore with freshman eligibility who led Eastern to two opening non-conference road wins by scoring a team-high six goals and sharing the team lead with nine points. With Eastern leading 3-2 early in the fourth quarter in an 8-2 win over University of Saint Joseph, CT, Haggerty assisted on goals three minutes apart, then scored the clincher with ten minutes left to round out the scoring. He also contributed nine ground balls and caused two turnovers.

Junior tri-captain won all three of her freestyle events and swam the second leg of the winning 200 freestyle relay in a 168-71 home win over Rhode Island College. Buchanan won the 200 freestyle in a PR of 2:01.07 which is the tenth fastest in program history, the 200 freestyle (2:02.43) and the 500 freestyle (5:37.21) to share the team lead with 27 points. The 200 free relay was timed in 1:50.12.

In the team's 57-44 dual meet win at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy dual meet Saturday, Bill won the 55 (6.87) and was second in the 200 (24.67) to contribute eight points and also ran a leg of the 4x400 relay which was second (3:42.17) in a two-team field.

In the team's 57-44 dual meet win at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy dual meet Saturday, Hennessy won the triple jump (12.63) and was third in the high jump (1.81) to contribute seven points. The triple jump mark improved his personal best from 12.42.

In the team's 57-44 dual meet win at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy dual meet Saturday, freshman Aurora was the team's top freshman finisher in the 55 (6.91) and 200 (25.33), improving upon his time in each event from his first meet in February. Aurora had the third-fastest time overall in the 55 and fourth-fastest time overall in the 200.
