The story had potential but the execution was just not there. The story never took off and it just felt like separate chapters put together. Plus for a mafia story, it lacked that certain mafia vibe that I am always looking for.

Bryn hasn'the worked in three years, she really needs the job. There is something about Oliver that attracts her, but he is her new boss. There is also the weird feeling she got when she came into the club.
Oliver runs the club for the Deluca's, and they put him in charge of the bookkeeping, so he has to hire someone that he can trust and that won't betrey them. They do not always do things on the right side of the law.
When Oliver looks up as Bryn walks in he is struck dumb, he has to keep her close until he knows her better, so he hires her.
This is an action packed story that you will not put down until the end.

This is a story that flows so well that you are drawn into it and kept enthralled until the very last page.

The book starts out pretty well. I was intrigued by the mysterious alpha factor he had going on. That faded as the storyline continued as more information was revealed. I didn't like his treatment of her having been given insight to his internal feelings. I thought the author tried very hard to create drama as the story dragged on. A great deal of the book had so much promise. I just felt like the delivery was a bit choppy. Brynn and Maya were very interesting and I liked the compromise the author put into the book when he was in Boston...family comes first. I loved how the author pulled it all together in the end.

This is a well written book with an interesting story line. The characters are strong and believable and the story flows fluidly. The author brings Bryn and Oliver together in this mafia romance and gives them a hot chemistry and a beautiful love. She does a great job pulling you into the story and keeps you turning the pages as fast as you can to see what's happening next. I was hooked from start to finish reading their story and would recommend this book.

Great story line!!!
Oliver and Bryn's story I loved for a few things. One the story line was like no other mafia story I have read before. It doesn't focus one the individual ranks of the mafia but more so on the family and Oliver and Bryn. Another thing I loved about this book was the character of Bryn. She is such a strong independent woman. She is out trying to take care of herself when she finds trouble again. This was my first book by this author and I am looking forward to reading more!!!

This is the fifth book in the Soul of the Sinner series and it is just as brilliant a read as the first four books and is not to be missed. I love how strong the characters are and the fact the story flows so well. The best part for me the the whole mafia romance which is one of my all time favorites. Addictive from start to finish.

Bryn is out of luck after running from Boston to Chicago, she ends up in a job working for a mafia family and the man who employed her wants her. Oliver couldn't get Bryn out of his mind, and when trouble comes looking for her he knows he has to keep her safe, but how. Crime romAnce definitely hits all the buttons for me Rumer Raines you have a new follower.

This was a really good action packed Mafia romance it is the first book I have read from this series and it easily read as a standalone. It had a well-written storyline that held my interest all the way through and I just loved the chemistry and the immediate attraction between Bryn and Oliver they were both great characters I cannot wait to check out the rest of the series

oh my gosh so engrossing and so fast paced. I really enjoyed this story I couldn't put it down I had to know what would happen next. great story great characters.

Good Read
I voluntarily reviewed an arc of this book. This is a very enjoyable and well written book. The entertaining chemistry and interaction between the interesting characters kept me engrossed till the end. This is an intriguing, engaging Must Read Book that I really enjoyed reading.

This book has a good storyline that is interesting and intriguing. The characters are engaging and nicely developed. I did like reading this book.
