Sophomore Season (2018)
Started 63 of 64 games for the Tar Heels at shortstop • Known as a defensive specialist, he finished third on the team with a .305 average while scoring 37 runs and driving in 51 RBI • Named a Third-Team All-ACC member as well as the Chapel Hill Regional All-Tournament Team • Voted as the Most Valuable Position Player for the 2018 season • Hit the game-winning home run on February 18 against South Florida to clinch the first series of the season •  Finished with 19 multi-hit games, including six of seven to end the year in the NCAA Tournament • Led the team with a .457 batting average in postseason play collecting multi-hit games in every postseason appearance besides two • Helped lead the Heels offensively in the sweep at NC State with 5 RBI • Recorded a season high four RBI against Pittsburgh on March 18 going 3 for 4 at the plate with a double • Helped clinch the Chapel Hill Regional for the Heels going 3 for 6 at the plate with 3 RBI and a run scored on June 3 against Houston • Went 3 for 4 at the plate with 2 runs scored in the Heels game 1 win at the College World Series against Oregon State. 

Freshman Season (2017)
Talented defensive infielder who saw action primarily at second base during his freshman campaign • Appeared in 39 games and started 14 at second • Hit .174 with a homer, three doubles and eight RBIs • Had an RBI double against NC State in the ACC tournament • Finished with a pair of hits and a run scored at Pitt on April 21 • Scored a pair of runs in the win over Miami on March 25 • Drove in a pair against Maryland on March 14 • Had his first two career hits, a double and a home run, against Long Beach State on March 5.

Ranked as the No. 9 shortstop and the No. 32 player overall in the state of North Carolina by Perfect Game USA • Also ranked among the top 500 players nationally by PG • 2016 Rawlings-Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American • Atlantic - All Region 2nd Team • 2015 PG Underclass High Honorable Mention • An all-state performer as a senior • Also earned county and conference player of the year honors • Hit .518 as a senior and graduated with honors • Played for Brian Hightower • Isaac Dale Freeman is the won of Russ and Wendy Freeman • Father was a college wrestler and comes from a long line of D1 wrestlers • Birthday is June 17.
