Hopeful Hearts: Empowering Young Abuse Survivors

In the silent struggles of countless children in Denton County, Denton County Friends of the Family (DCFOF) stands as a pillar of support. As a verified 501(c)(3) non-profit, DCFOF is dedicated to aiding victims of abuse, assault, human trafficking, and more, offering vital services like temporary shelter, meals, legal support, and counseling. Such aid is timely as the Denton County Friends of the Family reported over 201 victims of abuse to have resided within their facility in 2022. Of these 201 individuals, 80 were reported to be children. Our crowdfunding campaign aims to channel support specifically into the counseling services department, providing a lifeline for those on the path to mental recovery from the trauma of abuse.
