2021-22: All-Big Sky Second Team… Big Sky Player of the Week (Jan. 3 and Feb. 22)… Played in and started 29 games during his lone season with the Eagles. He averaged 16.5 points and 7.2 rebounds per game. Scored in double figures in 25 games, scoring over 20 points 12 times and over 30 points three times. Scored 38 points in a win over Montana State on Feb. 17, which is tied for the 14^th-most in EWU single-game history and the most scored by a Big Sky player that season. Scored 511 total points which is 19^th on EWU’s single-season scoring list. Finished the season 60^th in the nation in field goal percentage, shooting 52.6 percent (193-367) overall. He was 48^th nationally from the free throw line, shooting 86.3 percent (82-95). He was 43-for-122 from three-point range (35.2%). He paced the Eagles with 7.2 rebounds per game, grabbing 224 total. He turned in a team-high seven double-doubles, grabbing a career-high 12 in his Eagle debut against Nevada. Averaged 1.3 assists per game with 39 total. Ends his collegiate career with 1,019 points.

David Riley on Acliese: "Linton played at a high level in a strong conference down in California and we are excited to bring his experience and toughness into our program. He's another versatile player who can play multiple spots on both ends of the floor."
Acliese comes to EWU with 83 games of experience in three seasons of collegiate basketball, including 80 starts. He previously played for San Francisco State and Cabrillo College.

San Francisco State: After a medical redshirt season in 2018-19, Acliese started in 27 of 28 games and averaged 17.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and just over one steal per game in 2019-20. He was voted First-Team All-CCAA (California Collegiate Athletic Association) and was the only player to finish in the top four in both scoring (second) and rebounding (fourth) in the CCAA. He was sixth in the conference in field goal percentage (47.8%), fifth in free throw percentage (80.2%), and 11th in blocks (12). He had a season-high 32 points against Stanislaus State on 2/15/20.

Cabrillo College: In his two seasons at Cabrillo (2016-17 and 2017-18), Acliese played in 55 games and became the first player in school history to receive back-to-back Coast Conference South Division MVP and All-State First Team honors. The Seahawks would go on to be league champions in both seasons. In his sophomore campaign, Acliese started in all 27 of his appearances and averaged 20 points on 51 percent shooting, leading the team to a 17-11 record. He averaged 9.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 0.7 blocks. As a freshman, he started in 26 of 28 games and averaged 17.8 points on 58.3 percent shooting, along with 7.3 rebounds and 0.9 blocks, as Cabrillo went 20-8.

High School: He graduated from Manvel High School in Manvel, Texas, in 2016 and was coached by Christopher Wilson. He was voted first-team all-league in his senior season after averaging 13.5 points and 6.2 rebounds across 26 games.
 
Personal: Interested in earning a master's degree in wellness and movement sciences with a focus on sports and recreation administration at Eastern. Born 8/13/98 in Berkeley, Calif. Parents are Linton Acliese Jr. and Churon Lavallis. Nickname is "Boogie."
