Thank you @anvega ! I just need @cncf/sig-security to give us a link to a recommendation with their thoughts so we can proceed. |
Thanks, @michelleN! Here is the link to @cncf/sig-security assesment summary which includes recommendations to CNCF: https://github.com/cncf/sig-security/tree/master/assessments/projects/spiffe-spire |
SIG-Security has done a recent security assessment of the project (more details at https://github.com/cncf/sig-security/tree/master/assessments/projects/spiffe-spire) |
Hi, I will do the ToC review. |
Awesome, @justincormack! We gather this means DD now commences. We have prepared a doc to get going here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1tkN9YgBSLEUszOflWPHO72qedOaUb3iHfAye45dKJT8/ |
@caniszczyk @justincormack I'm curious if having a reviewer also counts as a TOC sponsor. Is that right? |
@anvega that's up to Justin |
Yes, happy to sponsor. I am going to open the public comment period. |

SPIFFE/SPIRE are currently CNCF Sandbox projects. The projects recently completed a security assessment presented to SIG-Security.
At this time, the team would like to submit the projects to be considered for incubation along with the project annual review process that is due.
