Upper Shields River Watershed Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout Conservation and Brook Trout Removal - Decision Notice

Based on the detailed analysis provided in the environmental assessment and public comment, Alternative 1 (see document below) has been selected to conduct pilot studies, rescue native fishes, and remove brook trout using a formulation of rotenone. In conclusion, the environmental assessment is the appropriate level of analysis and an environmental impact statement (EIS) is not required.
