GREENVILLE (WLUK) -- Travelers will have two new destinations to reach from the Fox Valley this summer.

Allegiant is planning flights from Appleton International Airport to Savannah, Georgia, and Rapid City, South Dakota.

The flights to Savannah will begin May 28 and operate twice weekly through Aug. 16. The airline is offering an introductory $49 fare.

The flights to Rapid City will run from Aug. 4-14, coinciding with the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. One-way fares start at $99.

"Travelers can now get a taste of Savannah’s Southern charm, culture, and cuisine now only a short flight away. From Rapid City, travelers can visit South Dakota’s stunning outdoor parks and famous monuments. It also gives people an easy and affordable way to get to the popular Sturgis Motorcycle Rally," airport director Abe Weber said in a news release.

Flights can be booked on Allegiant's website.
