Whiteford School Meals Closure Program
The MI Depart. of Ed. is allowing schools to continue to serve school meals during this school closure period. Whiteford will make breakfast and lunch meals available for any child age 18 and under that resides in the household including any students with disabilities ages 18-26 with an active individual education program (IEP). All meals will comply with school meal standards.
All students that currently are eligible for free or reduced meals will be automatically enrolled in this "school closure meal service program". Please let us know if you DO NOT want meals delivered to your home.
All students that reside within the district boundaries are eligible for delivery service, however, someone must be home to take delivery. Food cannot be left on a porch, in a garage, etc. We anticipate the daily deliveries to occur between 9 am and 11 am. Your delivery will include breakfast and lunch for each day, for each child listed below.
Pick up service will also be available if you will not be home of if you live outside the school district boundaries. We anticipate that the building will be open on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 9:00 am and 11:00 am for pickup of meals. You will be given several days of meals so that there is a breakfast and lunch for each day, for each child listed below.
When you enroll in the School Closure Meal program we ask you to commit for one week at a time. This will enable the district to be able to order sufficient product for the meals.
