Ukulele Club will give beginners the tools to explore the ukulele as an instrument, master basic chord progressions, play songs all the way through, and learn music theory skills along the way! Classes will be taught by The Song Spot music lessons studio owner Dana Pirzchalski, an alumni of Belmont University and avid music lover! Dana is also trained in autism and behavioral support for those with special needs and would be happy to make accommodations for your student if needed. No music experience needed- just passion about learning something new!

FAQ:
Q: What will the Ukulele club focus on?
A: This club will be targeted towards beginner players with extra supplemental support given to those who are more advanced. Over the six weeks, students will learn the string letter names, 4-8 chords, basic rhythm dictation, a few strumming patterns, and 1-2 songs that can be played all the way through.

Q: Will this be helpful or engaging to my child if they have not expressed interest in ukulele or a stringed instrument?
A: Yes! Ukulele club is the perfect place to nurture a young person’s interest in music! We will also be covering basic music theory which can be applied to any instrument or music class they may take in the future.
