-Thursday, November 3 from 3:30-6:00 p.m. in the Choir Room (#103)

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS:
-Students in grades 9-12 may audition
-All students should attend one of the group dance auditions
-All students should sign up for an individual vocal audition time here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/9040d4ca4aa2ea5f94-beauty 
-Students and parents should complete this audition form before the audition
-Students should arrive to the audition prepared to sing thirty seconds of any song, a cappella
-Students may be given a short monologue to read
-Students may be asked to demonstrate dance ability
-Students will be evaluated on expression, communication, and musicality
-Students are not guaranteed a role in the cast

Rehearsals for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will be Monday through Friday from 3:30-6:00 p.m. Rehearsals during the week of the performance will last longer. Please list any conflicts with this rehearsal time from November 7, 2022 through February 11, 2023. *

Each student will be charged an $80 fee to cover cast and crew meals during the last two weeks of the rehearsal season. *
Some students may be assigned the responsibility of maintaining a script. Scripts are to be treated professionally- especially when marking notes or highlighting lines. Please take care of your script and return it to Mr. Grooms in good condition after the final performance. A $30 fee will be charged to the FACTS account of students whose scripts are lost or severely damaged. *
All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Ben Lippen School Performing Arts Center on the St. Andrews Road campus (500 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29210). Students should be picked up from this campus by 6:00 p.m. Students are responsible for providing their own transportation to the Performing Arts Center. *
