The Inaugural Korean American Studies Conference welcomes K-12 educators, Korean language teachers, researchers, scholars and community activists to its first annual conference on April 23, 2022 at the Young Oak Kim Academy Middle School, Los Angeles, CA. This one-day event is held in commemoration of the ‘30th Anniversary of the Los Angeles Civil Unrest’ and is being hosted by the Young Oak Kim Center for Korean American Studies at the University of California, Riverside in partnership with IKEN and the Korean American Ethnic Studies Advisory Committee. It is sponsored by Korea Foundation.  We cordially invite you to attend for free, on a first-come, first-served registration process. All COVID-19 related health codes and regulations will be followed. You will receive further instructions, including the ZOOM link, after the registration process is completed.
