Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) is exploring options to expand access to esports. The purpose of this form is to collect feedback from students about the types of esports experiences to prioritize based on interest.

What is esports? Esports is a collaborative team based experience for online gaming and spectatorship. There are many benefits to gaming such as building persistence, critical thinking, problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills. Students on a team will have a variety of opportunities to participate in different roles including as a player, shoutcaster, manager, coach, and/or strategist.
