Join the Matt Griffin YMCA as we celebrate Black History Month! Community members are invited to join us in their vehicles for this special event!
*FREE Event with limited space available
*Concessions will be sold with proceeds going toward the Y-Scholars college readiness program year end graduation celebration.
*Viewing of Chadwick Boseman’s portrayal of Jackie Robinson in the movie 42 (rated PG-13)

Carpool Cinema Overview & Social Distance Guidelines
YMCA staff put on our first carpool cinema event this past summer and it was a success! Planning went into the event to ensure safety and compliance with social distancing guidelines. Cars are parked every other space and attendees are asked to wear masks if leaving the vehicle to get food or go to the restrooms. Restrooms will be open in the YMCA building and entrances will be supervised to limit the number of people inside at a time.
