Community Engagement Day (part of Eagle X) serves as an opportunity for FGCU students to showcase the amazing service-learning projects they engage in and the impact they have in the community each academic year. This annual event has always been the LARGEST showcase of student service-learning projects presented on campus and aims to highlight and honor the most outstanding individual, class-based, and student organization-based service-learning projects each year. Community Engagement Day also serves as a moment of inspiration for all attendees as it highlights the strong relationships built between the university and our communities.
Once selected to present, projects are considered for a variety of possible awards in which the WINNERS RECEIVE FUNDING for their nonprofit or government agency partners. A list of specific awards can be viewed here:

Note: the project does not need to be complete by March 18th, but you must indicate your project details and timeline to completion in the application.
