To speak or not to speak
Hi!

This questionnaire is the way to help me understand as a teacher of foreign languages why some students of foreign language have more success in their learning than others. How can I be of any assistance as a teacher - this is what I would like to learn. My intention is to use answers you provide in my own teaching as well as to share it with other teachers in an article.
I would be really grateful for any insight you can provide from your own experience learning 1 or several foreign languages. Answering shouldn't take a lot of time and the answers could help at least one of my students or students of another teacher.
Thank you for your time and for sharing your experiences.

IMPORTANT 1
You have an option of skipping some questions, if you don't feel comfortable answering or you don't have a lot of time at your hand when you open the questionnaire. I would like to point out that the questionnaire is completely anonymous on my side. So, I hope this makes you more comfortable about answering some of the questions. If you don't have a lot of time at once, try to come back perhaps when you will be free again and answer questions that are left. When you answer all of them, first, you will get a better understanding of what motivates you most and how do you prefer to learn. Second, I as a teacher and then all others who will, hopefully, read it, get a better understanding of what they could change in their teaching practice. So, in a way, you are helping somebody, maybe somebody who has struggled a long time with a foreign language and they just didn't know why and their teacher(s) didn't know why.

IMPORTANT 2
Questionnaire can be answered by anyone who has learned any language that was not his/her own first language (aka anything that goes as a foreign language for you).

Answers that you submit by 28th July, will be included in the article I intend to write. You can reply even after that day, it will be useful to have more information. The more answers there are, the more detailed picture emerges from all the pieces. So, if you know anyone who could share his/her experience, please do share questionnaire with them.

If you wish so, you can leave your e-mail contact and I can send you the article when I finish writing it.
If you are a teacher or a researcher interested in knowing more on this topic, you can leave your e-mail and we can establish contact and discuss it.

I don't collect any personal information beyond the one that I can use in the analysis. So, your name, date of birth, etc. are not collected by me in this form.
