In the coming months, staff will be working on class assignments for the next school year, and we would value your input as part of the process. Requests for a specific teacher will not be considered, so this form should not be used to request a particular teacher, but instead to provide us with information regarding how you see your child as a learner, and to share with us what you see as your child’s strengths and areas of need. Completing this form is optional for students returning to Farmland, but if you choose to complete it, please submit it electronically by Monday, April 29, 2024. 

Parent/guardian input is useful in predicting our classroom needs for the upcoming year. Teachers and specialists will take a great deal of time and care to organize these classes. The goal is to create heterogeneous homerooms where students can be successful and productive. As we go through the articulation process, all classroom teachers will review the feedback from parents to help inform placement decisions. 

It is important for the community to know that we are never certain about teacher assignments and cannot share homeroom placements prior to the posting of classes at Open House in August.  Constant changes in  enrollment means the creation of classes is an ongoing process throughout the current school year and summer.
