CREW REQUIREMENTS:
-Students in grades 9-12 may apply to be in the crew 
-Students will be evaluated on maturity, creativity, and the ability to work as a team
-Students are not guaranteed a place in the crew
-Students who are selected to the crew are not guaranteed to run the show
-Students may NOT apply for the crew and audition for the cast; students must choose one or the other
-Students who are not selected to the cast may NOT apply to be in the crew

Rehearsals for BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will be Monday through Friday from 3:30-6:00 p.m. Rehearsals during the week of the performance will last longer. Please list any conflicts with this rehearsal time from November 7, 2022 through February 11, 2023. *

Each family with students selected to the cast or crew will be charged an $80 fee. This fee will cover cast and crew meals during the last two weeks of the rehearsal season. *
Some students may be assigned the responsibility of maintaining a script. Scripts are to be treated professionally- especially when marking notes or highlighting lines. Please take care of your script and return it to Mr. Grooms in good condition after the final performance. A $30 fee will be charged to the FACTS account of students whose scripts are lost or severely damaged. *
All rehearsals and performances will take place at the Ben Lippen School Performing Arts Center on the St. Andrews Road campus (500 St. Andrews Road, Columbia, SC 29210). Students should be picked up from this campus by 6:00 p.m. Students are responsible for their own transportation. *
By signing below, the student agrees to support the vision of the Ben Lippen School Fine Arts Department, arrive on time for rehearsals and performances, follow the instructions of directors and volunteers, contribute excellently to the creation of art that is bigger than himself or herself, and work towards a common goal as part of a team. *
By signing below, the parent agrees to support the vision of the Ben Lippen School Fine Arts Department, ensure that his or her student arrives on time for rehearsals and performances, communicate in advance with directors regarding schedule conflicts, and practice with his or her student outside of rehearsals to help the student achieve success. *
