FGCU Writing Awards Competition & Celebration!

The 6th Annual FGCU Writing Awards Competition is back and is open for submissions! We are so excited to recognize your amazing writing during this era of COVID-19. Your work and industry represent some of the silver linings that have helped us navigate the pandemic. 

Undergraduate students can submit writing samples for a variety of categories, representing all academic units. In addition, we have two categories to celebrate the best graduate student writing!

The date for the Writing Awards Celebration is still TBD, but we are working to create a joyous socially distant event! Winners can also choose to have their writing uploaded to the FGCU Digital Archive and published in either of the student journals (Mangrove Review: FGCU's creative journal or Aquila: FGCU's academic research journal).

Submit your writings by January 28th!
