Women at Work (KSU IRB FY21-590)

Led by Dr. Jennifer W. Purcell, School of Government and International Affairs, and Dr. Darlene Xiomara Rodriguez, Department of Social Work and Human Services, this study explores the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on women working in higher education and the resources they need to flourish in their careers. Specific areas of impact include workload and productivity, work-life balance, and sense of wellbeing.

We are currently recruiting full-time women faculty and staff in the United States with parental caregiving responsibilities for this study on the Covid-19 pandemic's impact on women in the academy and what they now need to flourish in their careers. The study is sponsored by the Organizational Effectiveness, Leadership Development, and Inclusive Excellence (OLI) department through Dr. Purcell's funded Fellowship for Gender and Work Life Issues.
