Bianca "Blush" Atterberry is a singer and songwriter best known for her prolific work with Atlantic Records artist K. Michelle.

Her career began at a young age when her mother (enlisted with the US Army), moved her and her brother from Meridian, Mississippi to Ft. Dix, New Jersey and quickly began putting Atterberry into fashion shows, talent shows, and auditions. At four she was featured on the local news for her outstanding performance of Whitney Houston’s “I Will Always Love You” in a talent show..[1]

Her family moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and at the age of 14 she attended the Pittsburgh High School for Creative and Performing Arts (performing in over 30 operas and plays with the Pittsburgh Festival Opera). After graduating in 2006, Atterberry decided to continue her musical path and was honored to be a part of the Emmy Award-winning soundtrack Fly Boy Fly: A Tuskegee Airmen Documentary.[2] She quickly became a mainstay in the local Pittsburgh songwriting and Hip-Hop scenes.[3] After reaching out to many of her mentors, she decided it was time to leave home and in 2009, she moved to Atlanta to chase her songwriting dreams.

While honing her songwriting talent, Atterberry created a YouTube page to highlight her first few original songs, covers of other artists, and topics she was writing about, laying the groundwork for future relationships with other artists, publishing companies, and various labels. It was around this time she began writing for artists from international markets.

In 2011, while working, she met K. Michelle. They immediately built a strong musical bond, and after writing together for several years, K. Michelle landed a contract deal with Atlantic Records in 2013.[4] Blush earned the opportunity to write the majority of her debut album Rebellious Soul which debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200[5], and to executive produce her sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart? which debuted at #6 on the Billboard 200.[6] She has also made several appearances on K. Michelle's Vh1 show K. Michelle: My Life that chronicles some of their work together in the studio over all four studio albums with Atlantic.

She has since placed tracks, created singles, and/or produced vocals on projects from Rick Ross, Keke Palmer, Angie Stone, American Idol, The Voice[7], Meghan Trainor, Chris Brown, Elijah Blake, and Macy Gray[8] among others, and is currently completing her EP “Songs That Make You”[9] whilst working with Kelly Rowland on her new solo project. Atterberry is represented by Disney Music Publishing. [10]
