The movie is just that: A Game Changer! From Sundance, I sit down with the cast of The Game Changers: James “Lightning” Wilks, NFL’s Lou Smith, Anti-Poacher Damien Mander and Strongman Patrik Baboumian make this one of my all-time favorite interviews.
In a snow storm that kept director Louie Psihoyos caught in traffic, Damien, James, Lou and Patrik and I huddled together to chat about the ground-breaking movie, The Game Changers. Each man was fascinating in his own right and each came armed with info, facts and rippling muscles, physically proving that their plant-based diets and ethics had them on the right path.
James talked about his journey. When he was laid up with an injury he started researching the best ways to heal. He learned that dating back to the time of the gladiators the strongest fighters maintained a plant-based diet. He then wondered why that knowledge had been kept from him. The result is the incredible movie, The Game Changers.
Patrik also had some incredible tales…of moving a FIRE TRUCK.
And Damien Mander talked about what The Game Changers movie addresses head-on: What does it mean to be a real man?
