Director of Finance & Administration

We are excited to announce that we have partnered with The Kansas City Repertory Theatre (“KCRep”) in search of their next Director of Finance & Administration. KCRep is a beacon of high-quality artistic performance in our region, and a leader in expanding art access while creating unforgettable experiences for audiences, families, and communities.

The Theatre is seeking an experienced, savvy, and nimble activator to provide financial and administrative leadership. The Director of Finance and Administration will invest in the theatre’s long-term sustainability, navigate a new landscape of art consumption, and steward the theater’s collaborative culture. The Director must exercise strong fiscal control in overseeing all accounting, financial reporting and management, and operations and personnel matters. A key member of the Theatre’s leadership team, this position reports to the Executive Director and leads a finance team of three.

Executive Director

We are excited to announce that Lead to Read KC is seeking a collaborative, operationally excellent, and personally dynamic leader to serve as their next Executive Director. Reporting to the Board of Directors, this dynamic leader will serve as the strategic, functional, and operational head of Lead to Read. This leader will work closely with the leadership team and the Board to set a vision that builds on Lead to Read KC’s strong financial and operational foundation while preparing for continued growth and scale, increasing accountability, and deepening the organization’s impact.

Founded in 2011, Lead to Read KC aims to support the social, emotional, and reading skills foundational for student success by advancing literacy and mobilizing community. Currently, Lead to Read KC mobilizes over 1,500 volunteers to work one-on-one with students on a weekly basis by bringing in reading role models to work with students in schools. From its humble beginnings as a small volunteer group going into schools, Lead to Read KC has grown and expanded to serve students and communities through four key areas of focus: reading and mentoring, tutoring, author partnerships, and book distribution.
