About Us
Mapai commenced operations in 1985 with a single vehicle and now operates out of depots in Lae, Mt Hagen (both with fully equipped workshops) and a new depot in Goroka.
Mapai has a transport fleet in excess of:
- 70 prime movers on the “highway” with 170 trailers
- 20 “town” delivery trucks (spread between Lae, Goroka and Mt Hagen)
- 20ft/40ft sidelifters with a number of top lifter and reach stacker forklifts
- Over 600 containers (87 brand new 20ft containers with more on order)
