Greetings from the YMCA!

My name is Alison Risso and I handle communications for the YMCAs in and around the beltway.  We've got some great volunteer/SSL opportunities for your students!
The first is a fun family event on Thanksgiving.  We need a few hundred course marshals to keep runners on the right path.

The second is the YMCA's teen civics program, which offers experiential learning for civics and government.

Both offer teens exciting experiences to learn new skills while giving back to the community.
