CommunityHealth Virtual Volunteer Info Session Registration
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with CommunityHealth!

Please register for an upcoming virtual info session if you are interested in joining the team as a lab technician, dental assistant, licensed pharmacist, triage volunteer or medical interpreter (Spanish or Polish, remote and/or onsite). All info sessions will be held virtually on Zoom.

All CommunityHealth volunteers must be 18 years of age or older.

NON-CHICAGO RESIDENTS: all trainings and volunteer shifts are scheduled in Central Time. Please be sure you are adjusting to make sure you're available at the right time. We cannot accommodate international calling, so all remote interpreters must be US-based with a US phone number.

Please note, attendance at an info session does not guarantee placement. We are always eager to share more about our work and match supporters with engaging opportunities, but our needs vary throughout the year. We are mindful to only bring on volunteers whose availability and experience match current needs, both to ensure that you have a positive experience and our patients are well supported.

Please only submit this form ONCE. If you signed up for the wrong session or need to make any changes, please email Katie O'Connor at koconnor@communityhealth.org.

Required
What shifts would you typically be able to cover? *
Check any/all that apply. Volunteers must commit to at least 2 shifts/month to remain active. Your selections here are not a binding commitment, but will allow us to confirm that your availability meets current needs.
Required
Please elaborate on relevant experience here. *
Potential interpreters: You need not be in Chicago, but must be at least in the US for remote interpreting. We highly encourage local interpreters to schedule at least one onsite shift per month. Below please provide your US City/State/ZIP Code. (Write N/A if not interested in interpreting.) *
If interested in remote interpreting you must have a valid US phone number and be located in the US to participate (PR included). Onsite interpreting shifts are also available. All lab/dental/pharmacy/triage/admin roles are 100% onsite.
Which Zoom info session would you like to attend? *
You MUST have access to audio and video to participate. If you are interested in becoming a Spanish interpreter and are not a native Spanish-speaker, please plan to remain online for an additional 30 minutes after the info session for a brief fluency assessment.
