Crown Third Thursdays - Antiracist writing workshops across the curriculum
Block 6: Thursday, Mar. 18, 12:15 – 1:30 pm Mountain Time
Critique is an intricate skill that necessitates our attention, be it thesis advising, peer review, small group work, or large group workshop. Imagine if students rallied around one another, training in how to summarize their projects, articulate constructive questions, and moderate their own feedback sessions. Join CC Bronfman Creativity and Innovation Scholar-in-Residence Felicia Rose Chavez, author of The Anti-Racist Writing Workshop, for examples of anti-racist approaches to workshopping student writing across the curriculum. The Crown Faculty Center can provide a number of copies of Felicia Rose Chavez's recent book to interested teaching faculty and staff. Indicate your request below.
