Permission To Be Excused From Classes On AP and IB Exam Days
If an AP or IB exam is scheduled for the morning session, MCPS allows students to be excused from class the remainder of the day. If an AP or IB exam is scheduled for the afternoon session, MCPS allows students to be excused from class until the scheduled exam time.

I give permission for my student to be excused from classes during AP/IB exams.  I understand that my student will be excused from class on the dates the student will be testing.  By agreeing to these terms, I understand that my student is responsible for meeting the requirements outlined above. Furthermore, I understand that my student is responsible for making up missed work due to the excused absences and that failure to make up the work may negatively affect his/her grade.
