2022 AALDEF Exit Poll and Poll Monitoring Program - Volunteer Sign-Up Form
Volunteers Needed to Defend Asian American Voting Rights on Election Day - Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

On Election Day, November 7, 2023, the Asian American Legal Defense and Education Fund (AALDEF) will dispatch attorneys and volunteers to document voter problems and the availability of language assistance. We will also conduct a nonpartisan multilingual exit poll to get a snapshot of Asian American candidate preferences, party enrollment, and issues of significance to Asian American voters. AALDEF has conducted exit polls of Asian American voters and monitored polls in every major election since 1988.

We are committed to enforce voter protection to make sure no one is turned away on Election Day. This year, we are seeking volunteers in the following states: California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, and Washington, D.C.

Important things to note:
- If you have never volunteered with us before, you *must* attend a training--please select a training date. If you have previously volunteered with us before, the training is optional.
- For those who recently passed the bar exam: this training, combined with volunteering for the Exit Poll or Poll Monitoring qualifies for the 50-hour NY State Bar Pro Bono requirement.
- You will receive your Exit Poll assignment on the LAST week of October. Thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.
