Bloomsburg Area PreK Counts Expansion Survey

Bloomsburg Area School District, in conjunction with the Central Susquehanna Intermediate Unit, are exploring the option of creating an additional Pre-K Counts classroom in your area.  Currently, we have one classroom serving 18 students located at Memorial Elementary.  With additional funding, we will be able to serve a total of 36 students prior to Kindergarten.  To ensure there is a need for an additional classroom, we would like to assess the need of the district. Please complete the survey below to help guide our decision.

Pre-K Counts is a preschool program funded by the state, which is FREE for parents. Families who live in the district are eligible if they have a child ages 3-5 and meet income required guidelines.  Breakfast and lunch are served.  Children are taught by highly qualified staff to help them learn skills necessary for Kindergarten.  Hours are typically 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and the classroom would be located within the district.
