Research Network Application
Thank you for your interest in the RSA22 Research Network Forum. Applications are no longer being accepted.

Thank you for your interest in the Research Network Forum, which will once again be held at the RSA 2022 Conference. It will take place on the afternoon of Thursday, May 26, in-person, in Baltimore, Maryland. Please complete this application to be considered to participate. The deadline for applications is February 15, 2022.

The purpose of the Research Network is to provide newer members of our profession, with a special emphasis on graduate students, an opportunity to share a work-in-progress article or a chapter in a group session lead by a senior scholar in the field.  To date, over 25 senior scholars have volunteered to participate and serve as group leaders in 2022.

You do not have to send in a completed work-in-progress to apply. If accepted, you will be contacted by RSA around March 1 and then receive a subsequent message from your group leader asking you to share your completed work with your group in April. Each participant will be expected to read and be prepared to discuss the drafts of all participants. Senior scholars may also provide further instructions for the session as the conference approaches.

Please also note that the names of participants in the Research Network will be published in the conference program. Therefore, graduate student participants in the Research Network forum will also be eligible to apply for funding from RSA to help offset the expenses of attending the conference.  When it opens, please see the conference registration form for more details about graduate student funding via the Lunsford, Corbett, or Lauer funds.  You must be a member of RSA to attend the Research Network.

If you have any questions, please contact RSA Executive Director Leslie Dinauer at dinauer.rsa@gmail.com.
