Thank you for your interest in the P-EBT program. This program provided food assistance to children who lost access to Free and Reduced-Price School Meals (FARMS) due to school closures as a result of COVID-19. The Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) and the Maryland Department of Education (MSDE) jointly implemented this program.
The P-EBT program, which was a temporary measure to provide food money to children unable to access free and reduced-price school meals during the pandemic, ended on December 31, 2023.
- For questions regarding homeschooled children applications please contact the Maryland Department of Education at 410-767-0199 or 2023pebt.msde@maryland.gov.
This form remains operational to assist with the following circumstances:
- Expungement: If the benefits of the child in your inquiry were expunged because the card was never used before the expungement and the benefits were not lost due to a reason other than expungement the benefits will be replaced.
- Need a new card: You no longer have access to the P-EBT or EBT card issued and there is a balance on the card. This includes if you called the MD EBT Call Center Number 1(800) 997-2222 and you were told the address on file is incorrect.
To request an expungement replacement and to update your mailing address with DHS, please complete the P-EBT Customer Inquiry Form.
Unfortunately, due to P-EBT ending on December 31, 2023, there is no further action we can take at this time outside of the circumstances listed above. DHS worked closely with MSDE to resolve all open school-age P-EBT inquiries before December 31, 2023, if there was no change to the case no additional resolution was available before December 31, 2023.
