About the Lab

The CoRAL Lab leverages physics-informed and data-driven models to understand compound extreme dynamics in coastal environments.

We are interested in statistical analysis, data science, hydrodynamic & hydraulic modeling, and data collection using drones.

Vision

The CoRAL Lab aims at enhancing compound flood awareness and perception in coastal communities particularly among vulnerable groups.

We aim at providing actionable flood hazard maps at the street level, adaptation and planning strategies focused on green infrastructure, and risk-flood information through scenario-based simulations.

Team

The CoRAL Lab is looking for motivated and talented students to join our international team and work under supervision of Dr. David F. Muñoz.
