For Charlotte County, completing the Long-Term Recovery Assistance Application is the first step in determining your eligibility to receive financial assistance, repair assistance, or case management. These may help in your recovery from the damage caused by Hurricane Ian, and most recently Hurricane Idalia. Our goal is to connect you with all the services available to you.

We are assisting those who are:
Low income (80% of the area median income)
Seniors (age 60+)
Displaced
Disabled
Renters

COAD MISSION

The Community Organizations Active in a Disaster (COAD) Story

COAD is a group of Charlotte County community organizations, working together during a disaster to provide coordination of services to ensure that unmet needs are addressed, provide financial assistance and supplies, and to share knowledge and resources with Charlotte County residents during a disaster.  COAD members include faith-based, non-profits, volunteer groups, and government agencies.
