  • Cash is accepted at all outlets and golf courses at The Highlands, Inn at Bay Harbor, Bay Harbor Golf Club, and Crooked Tree Golf Club.

    Boyne Mountain Resort is now cashlessSimply swipe or tap your credit card, debit card or smart device with Apple Pay or Google pay or gift card, room/account charge to complete purchases at our sales locations. If you would like to use cash, you may go to the following locations to purchase a gift card with cash: The Mountain Grand & Spa Front Desk, Season Pass office at the Civic Center and Lift Ticket Window.  This gift card can then be used around the property in lieu of cash.  Any monies left on the gift card will not expire and can be used for future visits or purchases.

  • The golf shops will be open and will follow the course opening schedule. Golf shop hours vary by time of season.

  • Please check-in for your round at the appropriate golf shop, or online via your confirmation email, at least 20 minutes prior to your round.



  • Scorecards are available on your cart.  





  • All guests are responsible for their reserved tee times. No payment will be collected to reserve a tee time; in the event of a no show, the credit card associated with the tee time reservation will be charged as follows: Tee time canceled more than 48 hours before tee time, no fee charged. Tee time canceled 24-48 hours before tee time, 50% of greens fee will be charged. Tee time canceled less than 24 hours before tee time will be charged 100% of greens fees.

  • The driving range and practice greens will open follow the course opening schedule.

  • Yes, golf instruction is offered at each course and through the BOYNE Golf Academy located at The Highlands. Please see our BOYNE Golf Academy page for details.

  • Club rental is available for $70 per set. We utilize men's and ladies Callaway golf clubs. Supply is limited. Please call the appropriate golf shop ahead of your round to reserve.

  • Each facility has a grab-n-go station or snack shack open depending on the course. The Country Club of Boyne and Bay Harbor Golf Club also have indoor and outdoor seating for lunch. Hours vary by location. Please visit our On-Course Dining page for more details.

  • Water stations are available on the course.  Please plan to bring your own water bottle for hydration.

  • Yes, you can. You may change dates at any time. Your package rate may vary but you are welcome to do so.  Unless we are closed, normal cancellation policies apply.

  • Personal photography is allowed across all the courses and at all golf events. All commercial and media filming, video and photography, requires prior approval from BOYNE Golf's Marketing Department. 

    Due to safety and privacy concerns, BOYNE Golf prohibits the operation of unmanned aerial systems, or drones, on or above resort property without prior written authorization from BOYNE Golf. This prohibition includes drones used for filming or videotaping, as well as any drone use by media or journalists operating above or within the area boundaries. This prohibition extends to any devices launched or operated from golf course properties, as well as any launched from private property outside any of the golf course boundaries. 

    Authorization for drone use will require proof of FAA licensing, insurance covering drone use, and liability release. Please contact the BOYNE Golf Marketing Department and provide this documentation if you wish to apply for authorization or have any questions. Any violation of this policy can be reported to the FAA and may involve suspension of your access privileges to the golf courses, the revocation of your season pass, and confiscation of any prohibited equipment. 

    Violators will be subject to any liability for damages, including, but not limited to, damages for trespass, violations of privacy, and physical injuries to persons and/or property, as well as legal fees.
