Northwest High School Request for Scholarship Consideration MC Board of Trustees Academic Potential Scholarship (Scholarship awarded by HS nomination)
The Board of Trustees Academic Potential Scholarship is for talented Montgomery County public high school graduates who plan to enroll at any Montgomery College campus in the fall following graduation.
This is a one-year (two semesters – fall and spring) scholarship that covers the full-time cost of tuition and fees (at the county resident tuition rate), pending sufficient funding. The award is based on academic achievement and potential, not financial need.
One official nomination will be made per high school.
To be considered for this scholarship, students must meet the following requirements:
• Minimum 3.0 high school weighted grade point average
• May/June Montgomery County public high school graduate
• Completed nomination form signed by the appropriate high school representative. Recommending counselor will need to provide a statement of support.
• High school transcript will be submitted to Montgomery College with the high school nomination.
Complete this Request for Nomination Form no later than Thursday, May 16 (END OF SCHOOL DAY).
