SALT LAKE CITY — The Granite School District Board has approved a return to school plan.

Families can decide whether they want in-person instruction at school, or teacher-delivered distance-learning when classes start on August 24.

The district proposed three separate schedules and will go with the one approved by the Utah Dept. of Health.

The Board adjourned late Tuesday night and said all information and presentations will be publicized on its website later Wednesday.

The board adopted a return to school plan with 3 proposed schedules. All schedules and plans push for social distancing measures and school will look very different this fall with these plans, whichever schedule is used, and that will be determined by the health department.

Per state mandate, students will need to wear face coverings, which will be provided by the district.

School specific site plans will be available online starting August 5.
