Processing Workshop Registration
Thank you for your interest in attending this in-person, hands-on workshop in the Lifecycle of Farm to School training series on Processing fresh fruits and vegetables, Tuesday, August 16th , 2022 from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm! This is the fifth in a series of eight workshops focusing on the annual lifecycle of a school garden. Attendance at prior workshops is not required. Look for future workshop registrations on our webpage.

This workshop will be held at Granite Ridge School. 4500 Buss Road, Cottage Grove, WI 53527 in the school kitchen. Intended for Food Service Directors, school nutrition staff and school garden staff, the workshop is an interactive, skill-building experience in processing fresh produce.
 
Lifecycle of Farm to School Workshops require participants to complete a personal action plan specific to this workshop subject; a roadmap for you to meet your school garden and produce processing goals. There is time built into each workshop for action plan development. You will share these action plans with our grant team and we'll follow-up with you at a later date to see if you have reached your goals and to provide any additional support to ensure a successful experience.

Please note that attendance at this workshop will involve recording and photography to document our workshop series. Attendance will be capped at 40 participants and priority given to those involved at an SFA participating in the USDA Child Nutrition Programs.
