Join us June 27 for updates on our plan for federal funding for public EV charging

An electric vehicle recharging in Woodburn.

ODOT is writing a state plan on how to use federal funds to support public DC fast charging infrastructure for electric vehicles along Oregon’s major roads. The funding — part of the 2021 federal infrastructure law — will be distributed to Oregon over the next five years.

On April 4, ODOT provided an overview of the federal requirements for the funding at a public webinar. Since then, the agency has met with several stakeholder groups and the federal government has released additional requirements.

Join staff from the ODOT Climate Office and Oregon Department of Energy 11 a.m. - noon June 27 for an update webinar. You can expect:

  • A summary of the draft state plan.
  • Key takeaways from meetings with stakeholder groups.
  • An overview of how ODOT is incorporating the latest federal guidance.
  • A preview of next steps for building out our corridors with fast-chargers and stakeholder engagement.
  • An opportunity to ask questions.
