2021 Global Studies Symposium for Best Practices in International Education at Minority Serving Institutions and Community Colleges

December 2-3, 2021
Vanderbilt University
Nashville, TN

Join us in Nashville for the 2021 Global Studies Symposium for Best Practices in International Education at Minority Serving Institutions and Community Colleges.  The symposium is intended to provide a space for MSI and CC faculty and administrators to share their best practices in international education, while also strengthening their professional networks and developing new partnerships.  We invite MSI and CC faculty and administrators to present their experience developing international curricula, study abroad, and other initiatives, as well as challenges posed in carrying those out.  The symposium will take place at Vanderbilt University December 2-3, and is hosted by Vanderbilt CLACX and Kimberly Green Latin American and Caribbean Center (LACC) at Florida International University, with the support of NRCs (National Resource Center) from all world regions, Vanderbilt Libraries, and the Vanderbilt University Center for Teaching.

The 2021 Global Studies Symposium is made possible with support from the US Department of Education Title VI Grants for Vanderbilt CLACX and Florida International University LACC.

Please note that this program will be in-person only. Vanderbilt COVID-19 policies require that masks be worn unless social distancing can be practiced.
