I have been impatiently waiting for El Pecador since the second I finished reading El Santo, and it was worth every second of the wait.

I knew that this book was going to be a rocky ride, but holy heck M. Robinson!

I don't want to give anything away or spoil anything for anyone, but just be prepared.

Be prepared to be shocked. Be prepared to be angry. Be prepared to be sad.

Be prepared for lots of WTF moments and for the unexpected.

I will say that I had a love/hate relationship with not only Damien, which was expected, but also with Amira. Her story really did take a turn that I was not expecting - then again, this is a M. Robinson book - I should expect the unexpected by now!

Run, don't walk to get your copy of El Pecador - you need this sinner in your life

El Pecador was an A..MA..ZING story! What a great read! This book was so full of suspense, angst, frustration…I am not going to lie, I wanted to throw my kindle a few times. Loved that cover but then again, I love any of Monica’s books! She is one of the authors I always one click!

The characters were perfect! Damien and Amira are the most perfect characters that are made for one another. Damien…hmmm…what to say…I love how hot and bullheaded he is. And Amira, I love her personality and how it is all over the place; it makes the story more challenging. The chemistry has been there since day one.

I don’t want to say too much as I don’t want to give anything away about the story. M. Robinson’s stories are always so unique. She really knows how to write great angst, love, hate and keeps you on the edge of your seat from page one until the very last page.

This was a fast read although there was a very short part that drags a bit but it didn’t take long for it to pick back up. El Pecador was written in dual POV. I love reading both Damien and Amira’s side of the story. I have read many books by M. Robinson and have loved each and every one of them. This is the second book in the El Santo series. I, for one, cannot wait to read more by M. Robinson. I highly recommend any of her books.

I'm a huge M. Robinson fan but the Saint-Sinner Series just wasn't my thing. I did enjoy El Pecador much more than book 1, El Santo, but the amount of angst concentrated on was just too much. I loved the story and the characters, just expected more. I guess we can't all like everything. This is book 2 in the series, you need to read book 1 to understand the story.

I did enjoy the cameo appearances from so many characters from other M. Robinson books. Can't wait for Lost Boy.

M you've done it again!!! I've shaken my head in disbelief and disgust. Thrown my phone down and walked away coz i was just so mad!
Cried,laughed and everything in between!!!

At times i didn't think my heart could take it! I thought it was going to break or just jump right out of my chest!

And of course who could forget bossmann!!!!

Completely and utterly loved the conclusion to this duet. It was everything I needed and more. Our main characters are so beautifully damaged yet drawn to
Each other through all the trials and tribulations they've been through. I can't recommend this enough if you like something a bit darker, with a whole lot of spicy.

If I could give this book 10 stars I would. It was just that good!!
M. Robinson you are one hell of a writer the emotions I went through with this book are nothing but remarkable. The twists and turns leave you questioning why did that just happen; but if you are familiar with Monica's style of writing then you know there is a reason for everything that she writes and that is what makes this book so good!
The characters both Damien and Amira are both strong willed so they are an amazing pair. You see a softer side of Damien in this book as well as a more bad ass side to Amira which I loved because she was able to spar with Damien on so many levels. Throughout the book one thing remained constant and it was the love that they had for each other regardless the circumstance.
When reading any of M. Robinson's books one thing you can be sure of is that the female characters are on equal footing when it comes to dealing with their male counterpart and the males somehow are able to show their sensitive side although they are so alpha male.
If you enjoy romance that isn't all that cookie cutter than this book is for you. You will not be disappointed!! El Santo MUST be read before hand if you want the full experience of Damien and Amira. Mrs. Robinson I look forward to reading your next novel. Anxiously awaiting July 28th for another great read of that I can be sure!!

Damien is a soldier for the Cuban government. The dictator of Cuba is his boss. His father is a soldier as well. His boss feels he is ready for a bigger role by his side. The night he goes for a raid on a farm his life changes forever. He is forced to do things he doesn't believe in and that is when he meets Amira. He saves her as much as she saves him. He vows to always been there for her. He gives her a home after her family is killed and provides everything for her. Damien has become a monster or at least that is how he sees himself but he always hides that from her.
Amira has been in love with Damien since as far back as she can remember. He saved her and she watches him become a strong and powerful man. He gives her everything she will ever need and more just because he feels guilty for taking her family from her. She sees it in his eyes. But she knows not the monster he has become. She may romanticize their relationship but she loves him even if he continues to hurt her.
Damien brings another women home to met his Rosa, his mother for all intents and purposes. That hurts Amira more than anything else he could ever do until he finds out that he is going to marry this women. That destroys her. But his new bride is not who anyone thinks she is. She was planted to spy on him and his boss. She disappears and is never heard from again. Damien is trying to stay away from Amira because he feels things for her and he has no idea what to do with those feeling.

This book is a complete mind roller coaster and most definately leaves you wanting much more but sadly as M. often does, She messes with us and makes us wait. So in January the ending to this story will be coming out and we will all have our answers to the burning questions we all have. You will cry, you will laugh, you will want to hurt M. but it wouldnt be a M. Robinson book without any of those feels. so Thank you M. you have done it again!

Wow. Just W.O.W. I’ve just finished this totally gripping, utterly intense follow on from El Santo & I have to say, M Robinson has left me pretty damn speechless.

I Inhaled El Santo, Damien & Amira had fast become one of my all time fav couples. I waited patiently for the missing half of their story & seeesh was the wait worth it. OMG I’ve not been so invested in a book for ages, I mean every turn of the page I thought I knew what was coming to only have that thought ripped from my soul.

Damien, so strong, so dark, becomes so undone, so vulnerable, so damn lost. Amira, so pure, so innocent, so forgiving, becomes so angry, so hard, so damn torn. Their lives are turned upside down & inside out. Nothing is as it seems, everything hangs in the balance. Life, death, love, loss. The past. The future.

Angst fuelled with plot twists that left me clutching my kindle with white knuckles, I couldn’t put this story down for a single second. What a love story. Dark, beautiful, fierce. My favourite dark duet of 2018.

Th story line had some twists which I love in a book, love Damien and Amira story makes you there wouldbe another. I enjoy reading both very much it also my first time reading anything by M. Robinson and if her other books are like these I'm looking forward to reading them. Great writing.
