As part of IMA’s efforts to support the finance and accounting profession during this critical period in history, we undertook two important initiatives.
First, we made many valuable education and networking resources available to nonmembers around the world free of charge and for a period of 90 days. This initiative, which ended in June, included select learning products, career and networking resources, and publications, all of which were offered at no cost. The provision of such resources is a way for IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) to do our part amid this global pandemic that has impacted professionals the world over.
We also provided a global 50% discount on CMA® (Certified Management Accountant) entrance fees and IMA membership. The promotion, which ended in June, was also part of our efforts to support finance and accounting professionals who are looking to upskill by encouraging them to continue to pursue their aspirations, despite current circumstances.
These two initiatives are an integral part of our commitment towards the development of finance and accounting professionals while guiding them on how they can add create value for the organizations they serve.
